Age Restriction & Responsible Use

BOOMBABA products are sold strictly to persons aged eighteen (18) years and above.

By entering this Site, creating an account or placing an order, you confirm and warrant that you are 18 or older, and that you are legally permitted to purchase smoking accessories in your place of residence.

This reflects:

• Section 6 of the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act, 2003, which prohibits the sale of smoking products to any person below the age of 18;
• Section 11 of the Indian Contract Act, 1872, under which a person below 18 is not competent to contract;
• our own position, which is that these products have no place in the hands of a minor.

• An age confirmation gate appears before the Site can be browsed.
• Age is confirmed again at checkout.
• We may request valid government photo identification — Aadhaar, PAN, Driving Licence, Voter ID or Passport — at any point before or at delivery.
• Our courier partners are instructed not to hand over a parcel to any person who appears to be under 18 without proof of age, and to return the parcel if it cannot be produced.
• Any account we believe to be held by a person under 18 will be closed immediately, any pending order cancelled, and the associated personal data deleted.
• Making a false declaration of age to obtain our products is a breach of these terms and may constitute an offence.

BOOMBABA VENTURES manufactures and sells rolling papers, pre-rolled paper cones, filter tips and lighters.

• They contain no tobacco, no nicotine, no cannabis and no controlled substance of any kind.
• They are supplied empty, as accessories.

We make no health claim of any kind about our products. Nothing on this Site should be read as suggesting that any product is safe, safer, healthier or reduced-risk.

We do not sell, supply, endorse or facilitate access to any illegal substance, and any use of our products with such a substance is prohibited, unauthorised and entirely at the user’s own risk.

We voluntarily hold ourselves to the following, in the spirit of Section 5 of COTPA, 2003:

• No paid advertising of our products on Meta, Google or any advertising network;
• No marketing directed at, or likely to appeal to, persons under 18 — no youth themes, no cartoon or character imagery, no school or campus targeting;
• No imagery of any person consuming or holding a lit product, and no depiction of any person who is or appears to be under 25 in any brand material;
• No influencer or celebrity endorsement aimed at a general or youth audience;
• No health, lifestyle-benefit, performance or “safer alternative” claims;
• No sampling, free distribution or promotional giveaway at public events or to the general public;
• Age-gating on every digital channel we operate.

Our products are supplied for personal use. You must not resell, gift or otherwise supply them to any person under 18. Doing so is an offence under COTPA, 2003 and, where we become aware of it, will result in permanent closure of your account and, where appropriate, a report to the authorities.

If you believe a minor has purchased from us, has been supplied our products, or is attempting to do so, please tell us immediately at grievance@boombaba.in. Every report is investigated and acted on. Your report can be made anonymously.
